Mucinous ovarian cancer is difficult to diagnose, often striking women at a younger age than other types of ovarian cancer. Many times it is missed or misdiagnosed. There is currently no screening test and the options for treatment are limited. Yet little research is devoted to this disease.

The Mucinous Ovarian Cancer Coalition is working to change all of that.

The Walk 4 Hope is a fundraiser for Rhonda’s Award, a grant dedicated to research for early detection and treatment of mucinous ovarian cancer. Our ultimate goal is to fund research that leads to a cure.

What: A pet-friendly stroll along a half-mile, wooded trail. We’ll also have food trucks, a flower truck, silent auction items, raffle prizes, a 50/50 raffle, music, and more!

When: Sunday, September 25th . Program begins at 1:30 pm with registration opening at 1:00pm.

Where: Whiteford Stoneco Park (Sterns & Whiteford) in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. Enter from Whiteford Road and watch for parking signs.

• Registration: Online registration has ended, but you can still register onsite the day of the walk beginning at 1:00

• Walk 4 Hope T-shirts:You can purchase Walk 4 Hope t-shirts separately through MOCC's online store at JupMode from August 1st through August 28th. Adult sizes are $20 and children's are $16. All shirts will be mailed directly to your home.
