Mucinous ovarian cancer is a difficult disease to diagnose, often striking women at a younger age. Many times, it is misdiagnosed as fibroids. Yet little research is being conducted on it. There is currently no screening test, and the options for treatment are limited.
The Mucinous Ovarian Cancer Coalition is committed to changing that.
Join Us in the Fight!
Walk 4 Hope is a fundraiser for Rhonda’s Award, a grant dedicated to research for early detection and treatment of mucinous ovarian cancer. Our ultimate goal is to fund research that leads to a cure.
The 2022 Walk 4 Hope will be the inaugural year for what will be an annual event. Our goals for this event are:
· To raise money for research that will give women diagnosed with MOC hope for a long, healthy life.
· To create early symptom awareness about this rare type of ovarian cancer, especially among younger women
