Did you know MOCC is 100% volunteer driven? We have a core group ofpeoplewho were family and friends of our late founder, Rhonda. They donate their time and talent to run the organization on a daily basis. And then there are other groups of volunteers who organize fundraisers of which MOCC is the beneficiary. Like our friend, Amanda. As a survivor of mucinous ovarian cancer, this is a fight she knows all too well. That’s why she rounded up some family, friends, and colleagues to organize a 5K to help fund the research and programs of MOCC.
Joining Forces: How You Can Help
Whether you're an avid or amateur runner or someone who has had mucinous ovarian cancer touch your life, there is a place for you in our fundraiser 5K.
Here's how you can get involved:
Register to Run:
Sign up as an individual or gather a team of friends, family, or coworkers. The more runners we have, the louder our message of support will resonate.
Host a Virtual Run:
Can't make it on race day? You can still contribute by hosting your own virtual run/walk and donating the proceeds.
Donate:
By donating directly, you help advance the mission of MOCC. Every dollar raised brings us closer to early detection, better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
